S&S Cycle 17-0448 Teardrop Air Cleaner Kit - Stock CV & EFI

The S&S Teardrop air cleaner is one of the most recognizable shapes in the industry. Features a uniquely designed backplate with air horn style radiused entryway and the dimpled cover with air directional cone on the inside. Design helps maximize air flow by giving intake air an efficient, easy path to follow into the carburetor. The improved airflow has resulted in an increase of 2 to 5 horsepower in S&S test bikes. This kit is especially recommended if performance cams and exhaust system have been installed. Reduced restriction of airflow may require that the stock carburetor be rejetted or the stock fuel injection system be recalibrated to maintain the correct fuel air mixture.
